Dream it. Build it. Grow it.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or you may have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.
Let us help you tell your story with our private spaces. They are designed for dedicated ceramic artists who need more privacy and space to move around. Residents enjoy 24-hour key code access to their studio as well as all community areas, tools, and equipment. We will supply you with the space and a shelf; all we ask is that you bring whatever equipment you have that will fit in your space. Are you a wheel thrower but your garage or basement is too cold or hot? Are you a handbuilder working out of your kitchen or the guest bedroom? Do you want to start your pottery business or side hustle? Want to make but don’t have a kiln and you’re tired of driving around town picking up and dropping off work?
When I was ready to move out of my cold/hot garage, it was liberating. While working from home was nice and convenient, I missed the social aspect. I love my dogs but they didn’t talk back. I missed the opportunity to bounce ideas off people in person; let’s be real, texting can sometimes be too slow.
The opportunities are endless if you can dream it.
We have the kilns for you to fire out of. You can either reserve a private kiln, share a load or fire piece by piece. Check out our link for more firing information at the top of this page.
While you will have 24/7/365 access to our space we still expect the same respect that we ask of our members and students. Be kind to one another and our space. Our community is important to us and we want to make it great.
Our semi-private spaces run $300/month, billed each month. We require a 30-day advanced notice for moveout and a cleaning inspection. There are 9 8’x8’ spaces. We ask that you supply everything you would need from your own glazes, and furniture (including a wheel if you have one). You will have access to our slab roller, extruder, communal bathrooms and the sinks in our other rooms. With that in mind, please do not use that equipment if classes are in session. Class schedules will be posted above the fridge and online.
