By November 2, 2024 - We started moving in our first load of tables, wheels, shelves, carts, etc. Toilets and floors started getting installed.
By November 26, 2024 - Windows and lights were put in. We started our electrical work for kilns and wheels. We got our wheels delivered and our floor was almost done! Our Clambshell Raku kiln arrived.
By November 30, 2024 - We finally unpacked the wheels and set them up. Bruce, the small kiln, moved in and was test fired successfully after being in storage for a year. April and Lucy started moving into the studio and utilizing the space.
By December 15, 2024 - We moved PB&JJ from Poulsbo WA into the studio and set him up. We opened and built the slab roller. We are finishing up installing clay sinks and traps. Trim, tile and final floorboards are going in.
December 22, 2024 - We are starting THE GREAT teacher hunt!
On February 22, 2025 - We hosted the Tacoma Pottery Salon and Natasha Alphonse.
By February 28, 2025 - We demo-ed 2 bathrooms to combine them into 1 ADA-compliant bathroom.
March 1, 2025 - WE OPENED OUR DOORS AND HAD OUR FIRST CLASS!
March 15, 2025 - We hosted the Tacoma Pottery Salon and Carisa Miller from Lula Pottery.
